Cogs can think.

I'm a mere, tiny, insignificant cog in a whole clockwork of stupidity.
The little cog that wanted to break free, I am.

Dumb

OSNews readers can be really dumb.

Wow, that is dumb. OSNews has struck me as inclusive of all sorts of viewpoints. My only problem is the constant "is linux ready for the desktop" or "linux is not ready for the desktop" articles. Those annoy me because in the past there used to be like one a month, at least.

Well, that was the trend of what people thinking, that's why there were one of each every month. OSNews mostly attracts Linux users (unfortunately the readership is not spread out equally) and so that's a hot topic for them, and so they keep submitting such editorials.
